It’s a 5-hour drive from Delhi to Jaipur, and the sights in Jaipur open at 8 am. The earlier we start, the more we can explore. We can pick you up from any location in Delhi whenever you’re ready.
Upon arrival in Jaipur, our first stop is the magnificent Amber Fort. This architectural marvel, dating back to the 11th century, showcases a captivating blend of yellow and pink sandstone with white marble. Enjoy a guided tour as we enter through the Sun Gate, revealing opulent courtyards, intricately adorned corridors, and the breathtaking Hall of Mirrors.
Next, we’ll visit the remarkable Panna Meena Stepwell, Jaipur’s hidden treasure. Legend has it that using the same set of steps to climb up and down is quite a challenge!
Immerse yourself in ancient history at Jagat Siromani Ji, a remarkable jewel constructed between 1599 and 1608. Prepare to be mesmerized by its intricate stonework.
We’ll make a quick stop at Jal Mahal (Water Palace), situated in the middle of a lake. Though not currently open to the public, this former hunting palace provides a picturesque backdrop for postcard-worthy photographs.
Continuing our journey, we’ll head downtown to explore the City Palace Museum—a harmonious blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. This historic landmark showcases impressive structures, beautiful courtyards, and grand gateways. Keep in mind that the royal family still resides in the Chandra Mahal, adding an air of regal elegance to the experience.
Next, we’ll visit Hawa Mahal, Jaipur’s iconic landmark. Built in 1799, this architectural wonder allowed the royal ladies to discreetly observe street processions. With its magnificent five-story facade adorned with 593 finely screened windows and balconies, it is truly a sight to behold.
Prepare to be amazed by the Jantar Mantar observatory—a fascinating collection of magnificent instruments from the 18th century. These impressive structures, the largest of their kind in India, were designed for observing celestial positions with the naked eye. Witnessing the architectural design and instrumental movements of this historical site is truly a captivating experience.
Immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of old Jaipur as we embark on a tuk ride or a walk through bustling local markets and backstreets. Don’t miss the chance to savor the popular and heavenly lassi at Lassiwala—a delightful treat for your taste buds.
Finally, delve into the enchanting world of Jaipur Hand Block Printing Craftsmanship. Accompanied by expert instructors, you’ll have the opportunity to design and personalize your very own Hand Block Printing napkin. Uncover the secrets of this intricate art form that has been passed down through the ages.
Afterward, we’ll drive back to Delhi, dropping you off at your hotel, airport, or railway station. (The itinerary can be customized according to your preferences.)
