We shall visit Timisoara a cosmopolite city in the west of Romania .Then we shall reach the Danube Delta river with marvelous landscapes . The sculptures of Constantin Brincusi : The Endless Column, The Gate of Kiss, The Table of Silence, Stool Alley are to be visited also in Tg Jiu, the Horezu medieval monastery (UNESCO monument) and then the fortified churches in Transylvania :Biertan,Prejmer, Saschiz, Valea Viilor, Viscri, the fortified medieval town of Sighisoara, the recently rebuilt fortress of Alba Iulia, the salt mine from Turda and many others more. FIRST DAY :Pick up from Budapest airport – Timisoara – Visit of Timisoara a cosmopolite city where we shall stay overnight Trip time around 10 hours. SECOND DAY : Timisoara -Orsova – Drobeta Turnu Severin -Tirgu Jiu – Polovragi – HorezuToday we are visiting the marvelous sculptures of Constantin Brincusi : The Endless Column, The Gate of Kiss, The Table of Silence, Stool Alley and then Horezu monastery (Unesco monument ) as well the Muierii cave, Polovragi cave and Polovragi monastery. Horezu Monastery (Unesco monument a masterpiece of Brancovenesc style). Accomodation in Horezu. THIRD DAY : Horezu – Sibiu : Sighisoara – Biertan, Valea Viilor, Viscri- Saschiz (the fortified churches from Transylvania all Unesco monuments ) Trip time : around 8 hours. FOURTH DAY :Saschiz – Tirgu Mures – the salt mine from Turda – Cluj . Travel time around 7 hours . FIFTH DAY: Cluj – Oradea – Budapesta
