We begin at your hotel or apartment and spend the day walking the city and learning language skills that will help you enjoy your stay in Italy and better understand the local culture. We will visit local markets, explore the areas of the city that interest you most and those that are never visited by tourists, and have lunch at a local spot. The idea is familiarize you with conversational Italian, food, culture, the incredible city of Venice and whatever else you wish to learn while here all in one. Like all of my tours, the Learn Basic Italian in Venice Experience is completely customizable. If you wish to avoid the crowds and explore the back alleys, that’s what we’ll do. If you prefer to see the main sights and learn some language on the way, that is fine too. I will do my best to learn about your likes and dislikes and cater to them as you wish.
