Harar is one of the world ancient civilization centre .It is one of the areas in Ethiopia Harar is a holy city and ancient in (1520) . Famous for its ancient buildings , its great city walls and as a centre of learning and Muslim Scholarship ( the town has more than 99 mosques .The city is well known for its superb handicrafts that include woven , textiles , basket ware , silverware and handsomely bound books and Harar has been a place of pilgrimage from all over the world for many years . Things to visit in Harar . The city walls The city walls and the narrow street lined with traditional Harari Gegar House Rimbaud House & Museum as well A fine traditional house dating from the period when the French Poet Rimbaud lived in Harar . The Museum is a house dedicated to the famous French poet Arthur Rimbaud who lived in Harar during 1880’s .This historical building was built by Italian Merchant . The Museum starts functioning after it was renovated by French Government in 2000G.C and it serves as a centre of Research documentation. The first floor has a collection of old photograph of Harari , Arthur Rimbaud and many others . The second Floor has painting in its wall and roof in addition one have access to a spectacular panoramic view of Harar . The Hyena Man As evening falls local men attract wild hyenas to the city in a Bizzarre spectacular as they bravely feed these dangerous scavengers . Babile Elephant Sanctuary East from Harar is the Babile Elephant Sanctuary , close to a small town of the same name famous for its hot spring and the Babile ‘ Valley of Marvels ‘ .The 6982km2 reserve is a sanctuary for a range endemic sub species of Elephant but it also home to black -manned lions , Lesser and Greater Kudu , wild ass as well . Harari Regional state is located at about 526km away from Addis Ababa .It is especially remarked for old historic town of Harar ,which now a day is serving as one of the major tourist destination in Ethiopia . We visit French Poet Rimbaud house and Museum as well , when night falls we visit and relax with hyena feeding in the city , Harar museum , Catholic church which had been built by Italian , Ras Mekkonen statue , Jamia Grand mosque , TekleHayemanot church . Day5: After early breakfast ,proceed to Babile elephant Sanctuary .See the endemic Lodinta Africana Oreleansi elephant , Wild Ass , Greater and Lesser Kudu and other . Day6: In the early Morning we drive back to Addis and later in the Evening depending on the flight schedule , we catch your flight back home .</p>
