A private guided tour of the Borromean islands is an excellent way to discover the gems of lake Maggiore. We will leave Stresa by boat to reach the enchanting isola Bella where you will step back in time while visiting the incredible Borromeo palace, a historic building dating back to the 17th century which seems to be floating in the waters of lake Maggiore. Beautiful rooms, richly decorated and also the amazing grottoes downstairs. A lovely walk through the stunning gardens and then a stop at charming isola Pescatori – Fishermen’s island for a lunch stop. In the early afternoon we will move to isola Madre for a relaxing walk in the peaceful garden and a visit to the old villa dating back to the 16th century.
