Daytrip to the Dal? Museum and Girona

After driving along a nice countryside highway, our first stop will be Figueres, Salvador Dalí’s home town. There we’ll visit his most important museum, created by the artist himself: the Theater-Museum. An amazing place that will make you think you are in a fun-fair instead of a museum. With me as your official tourguide there will be no lines to enter the museum, and during the visit I’ll help you understanding the mind and traumas of such a genial artist, you’ll learn about his background and biography and discover the meaning behind his weird-looking simbology. . . at the same time that we have some good laughs about his personal sense of humor. After that we’ll take a short drive to Girona, charming Italian-looking medieval town in the area. We’ll walk around it’s lovely Old Town, famous for its Cathedral as well as its Jewish heritage.
