Overview

On this trip we will make our way to the most South-Westerly edge of the African Continent, We pass the plush, picturesque suburbs of Clifton and Camps Bay, around the Twelve Apostles of Table Mountain and on to Llandudno and Hout Bay. We then negotiate the winding path around the famous scenic Chapman’s Peak Drive through Noordhoek, Kommetjie, Misty Cliffs, and Scarborough and on to the Cape Nature Reserve and Cape Point/Cape of Good Hope. After a climb up to the Lighthouse with magnificent views of the acclaimed ‘meeting of the oceans ‘(Atlantic and Indian) we continue on to Boulders beach and a visit to our Jackass Penguin Colony, one of the few land-based colonies in the world. We continue along False Bay through Simonstown, the Naval headquarters with it’s quaint harbour and fascinating story of Just Nuisance, on through the interesting Artists’ colony of Kalk Bay, where you can visit many galleries, curio shops and wonderful coffee bars. Finally, passing Rhodes museum, Muizenberg and back to Cape Town. A wonderful days outing.
