Overview

There is a town that nobody should miss in Brittany and it is Dinan ! Most of the time, people prefer to visit more famous places not so far. But if you take time, you get the chance to discover a very well preserved medieval town surrounded by city walls and made of half-timbered houses, granit houses and lots of religious buildings.

The natural site along the river Rance, the old cobbled streets, the winding paths, the signs on the shops, the style of the houses will enchant you. Listen, smell, look, imagine ! You are out of the time…

Place Duguesclin, rue de l'Horloge, église Saint-Sauveur, Jardin anglais, Apport, Jerzual, remparts, place des Merciers... are the main places to see in the town.
You don't need an special body training to visit Dinan, but be aware that there will be quite lots of cobbled stones and that some street are steep. I will adapt myself to your rythm. The visit is possible every day. Just note that the market makes the city very lively on Thursdays but makes the parking impossible on the Square Duguesclin until 3pm. Then meeting on Square Duclos.
