Overview

Even if Lyon is nothing compared to Rome, the city boasts several amazing remains from the Romans, at the time the city was called « Lugdunum, the Capital of Gaul ».

This tour is dedicated to those who are truly interested into this period.

We will visit the excellent Gallo-Roman museum and see unique artefacts excavated in Lyon !

Then we will walk through the several remains on the Fourvière Hill, Having a stoll through the Roman theatres and Odeon, I’ll explain you how was the city 2000 years ago and how the romans used to live here.
